Correct cleaning steps for camping tents
1. Pretreatment:
Use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove dust and leaves from the surface.
For stubborn stains, use a sponge dipped in cold water + a small amount of neutral detergent to gently wipe, and avoid strong acid and alkaline detergents.
2. Hand wash soaking:
Soak in cold water in a bathtub/large container, add special tent cleaner (do not use laundry detergent/softener).
Gently press the stains, do not rub or machine wash.
3. Thoroughly rinse:
Rinse repeatedly with cold water until no foam remains, detergent residue will destroy the waterproofness.
4. Natural drying:
Hang in a cool and ventilated place to dry (avoid exposure to the sun! Ultraviolet rays will accelerate the aging of the fabric).
Store after it is completely dry, otherwise it will easily mold.
